Zvyšování zájmu o judo mezi mládeží prostřednictvím školních a komunitních programů

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to explore how to increase interest in judo amongst young people through school and community programmes. The thesis not only addresses the current challenges associated with the decline in interest in traditional sports among the younger generation, but also proposes specific solutions and strategies to increase the attractiveness of judo. The first part of the thesis defines the key theoretical concepts related to sports management, organizational culture and the educational system in the Czech Republic. The second, practical part, focuses on the analysis of three selected institutions: the USK Judo Ostrava Sports Club, the Dana and Emil Zátopek Sports College and the University of Ostrava. For the purposes of the research, the methods of personal interview, observation and SWOT analysis were used. The thesis assesses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the development of judo in each of the institutions and identifies areas for improvement. The final section summarizes the main findings and proposes recommendations for the development of a comprehensive system of judo promotion at the school and community level. These suggestions can contribute to better organization, promotion and long-term sustainability of judo.
