Abstract

The bachelor thesis is based on the created application for the mobile device, which is supporting Java 2 Micro Edition platform with minimal requirements CLDC 1.1 and MIDP 2.0. It is about the navigation, which is consists with raster pictures that are show in the map. The theoretical part deal with acquisition GPS coordinates and their view on the map, the function of the Web Map Server and the use J2ME for mobile device. In the practical part is describes implementation some parts application and their use. Then the practical part deal with communication with PHP server, that serve as a connector between the application and database for acquisition of global data.
