Abstract
The thesis deals with the creation of measuring workplace for observation of atmospheric phenomena influence on the optical link. The technology development, principle and application of free space optic are described at the beginning of the work. The following is a description of the effects of atmospheric phenomena which have negative influence on the optical wireless link.
The practical part includes the creation of measuring workplace for observation of atmospheric phenomena influence on the optical link. In the thesis is used a professional free space optic link, which is located on campus. Created measuring station allows downloading data from professional optical link and from university weather station. The data are portrayed on a graph on a web page, which was created as part of the thesis.
The last part is the analysis of the atmospheric phenomena influence in the FSO by calculating the refractive index structure parameter in the atmosphere and RSSI prediction using meteorological variables.
