Abstract
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of measuring facial temperature using a single-board computer, Raspberry Pi. Facial detection is performed using a camera module and is solved using the face-recognition library. Temperature measurement is ensured by the IR sensor field AMG8833. Facial detection detects the face, specifically the forehead, and then measures its temperature. The application has a clear user interface that displays the camera view with the detected face, instructions to guide the face to the correct position for accurate measurement, and the resulting measured temperature. If the temperature exceeds 37,5°C (elevated body temperature), the user will be alerted with a warning message.
