Vznik a vývoj ploch nazývaných "brownfields"

Abstract

The submitted thesis summarizes knowledge, definitions and notions about areas, which are according to their origin and bad impact on living environment called „brownfields“. These areas can be used in different ways, but their utilization is closely connected to certain conditions. Among them remains not only appropriate legislation, which would support construction on these areas, but also activities connected with their revitalization. The thesis describes examples of solution of this kind of problems in the Czech Republic. As a next point is the risk connected with brownfields and possibilities which would reduce impact of human activity on living environment.
