Abstract

This thesis solves issue of preparedness of Sections of the Rescue Corps for dealing with Extraordinary Events in Operation of Rail Passenger Traffic in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is divided into three main parts. The first part introduces the characteristics of the Moravian-Silesian Region focused on rail transport, extraordinary events and rescue corps. The second part is focused on extraordinary events in operation of rail passenger traffic and consequences caused by them. Those consequences are results of risk analysis. The third and concurrently the final part of the thesis deals with the suggestion of the solution of extraordinary events in operation of rail passenger traffic in the form of plan. There are also recommended tasks and progresses of rail transport operators, railway operators, public information and rescue corps.
