Abstract

The objective of this diploma work is design foot bridge. Place of realization, located in Ostrava, walkway bridges Ostravice River and connects the centr with a Silesian Ostrava castle. The footbridge will be a great benefit from the architectural and cultural angle. Become one of the dominanting feature of the city. Construction of bridges will be steel. The supporting structure consists of two parabolic arcs, and elemental deck. This thesis describes the design of bridges, load calculations, creating a combination of load cases, design and assessment of cross sections of selected details. The calculations must be included in a dynamic influence and stability of the structure must be considered.
