Abstract

The main objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a bronze cast sculpture depicting knights in a duel, inspired by a historical story and combined with the author’s own stylization. The creative process is complemented by a theoretical section addressing issues related to the topic in accordance with the thesis assignment. The production process involves creating clay models followed by hollow wax models using silicone molds. The process also includes work with 3D printing and design software. Jewelry plaster is used to make the casting molds, and the casting techniques employed are vacuum and gravity casting. The goal is to create hollow figures whose stylization evokes a dynamic impression of a battle reflecting a real story. The interplay of surface contrasts is also an integral part of the entire work.
