Abstract

This thesis deals with a design of wobbulator which is used to measure of frequency dependent circuits like filters, amplifiers and with connection of reflectometric circuit is able to measure matching of circuits or antennas. Measuring range is form 1 MHz to 1 GHz with frequency step from1 Hz. Dynamic range of logarithmic detector is up to 80 dB. Generator contains DDS circuit, which cover range of frequencies from 1 MHz to 45 MHz, and from PLL circuit, which cover range from 45 MHz to 6 GHz. There are also circuits for amplification, switching signal between DDS and PLL, and digitally controlled attenuator which allows to set output signal amplitude and also calibration. For measuring of frequency characteristics of filters or amplifiers is there logarithmic detector and precise ADC. Measured values could be shown on connected LCD or on PC via USB. This thesis explains development of hardware, PCB and describes software also with reference measurement.
