Možnosti využití alternativních materiálů v geotechnice

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of waste utilization for geotechnical constructions, focusing mainly on construction and demolition waste, ash from municipal waste incineration plants, by-products of metallurgical production, by-products of energy production and coal gangue. In the following chapter, examples of the use of two secondary materials in practice are given, where the behaviour of the material in its natural environment is described in more detail. The theoretical part is concluded with examples of the use of secondary materials in geotechnical engineering. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis and comparison of the settlement of gravel and construction and recycled concrete aggregate embankments in the GEO 5 software. The result of this work is to demonstrate that waste material is an advantageous material for the construction of geotechnical structures that is not commonly used.
