Abstract

Sustainability of Project Funded by the EDRF Based on a Specific Project

This paper tries to define the theoretical assumptions of functioning of the structural policy, focusing on the analysis of the use of funds arising from the European Regional Development Fund. Concentrate primarily on the issues of project management, methodology of projects, requesting funding from the ERDF and sustainability of projects in the structure of the Regional Operational Programme of Central Moravia. This theoretical concept is applied to a specific project plan.

The work is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the theoretical milestones in the field of regional policy, characterizes the position of individual funds, specifies the role of ERDF in the framework of structural policy and defines the strategic documents for the implementation of EU regional policy in the Czech Republic, with a focus on operational programs. The following part analyzes the definitions of basic concepts for creating a project, describes the project cycle and characterizes the tools used in the preparation, monitoring and sustainability of projects. The last part analyzes the different sections of the project summary on a specific project of Rožnov beer spa. Goal is to use the aforementioned documents to assess the sustainability of this project in the first year of its existence.
