Abstract

The thesis is conceived in the form of case studies and deals with the protection system Fire and Rescue Service as a business entity element of critical infrastructure. Because the element belongs to the field of critical infrastructure to identify potential failures and formulation of recommendations on how to prevent such interruptions or reduce future damage, it is necessary to take advantage of risk management. In case of uncommon situation Risk management help us to find those precautions which hold system in functional phase as long and in such range as it is possible. It also creates conditions for possibilities of quickly stabilization of process and consequently restores normal functioning after cessation of emergency. In the context of assessing the effects of extreme events risk management applications can also reduce business risk.
