Fungování umělých vodotečí v krajině

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on behaviour of artificial watercourses in the landscape. Definitions and description of watercourse types, their environmental and hydrological functions, their condition and their beneficial or harmful effects in the landscape are worked up most. I also pay great attention to historical development of drainage and irrigation systems in human history. Ecologists’, water managers’ and agriculturists’ opinions on artificial watercourses behaviour occur in this bachelor thesis.
