Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the development of a web map application which is based on an open-source Javascript library Leaflet. The web map application is focused on the analysis of real estate data in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The application is being developed for analytical purposes of the Landcor Data Corporation company, which has provided us with the data. The latest existing solutions for real estate market analysis are discussed. In the practical section of this paper, the possibilities for spatial data publication on the Web using open-source technologies are described. The result of this work is an interactive web map application which visualizes the development of assessed real estate prices by their type and geographical area from 2000 to 2018.
