Abstract

The diploma is focussing on history and evolvement of emergency readiness of the Czech Republic population and compares it to the evolvement in the European Union countries. The evolvement of emergency readiness has been monitored since the 1930s. The dissertation contains an emergency readiness concept for all groups of citizens. This concept should correspond to the contemporary concept in place and is created for the period until 2013 with the outlook to 2020.
