Abstract

The presenting bachelor’s degree thesis deals with” Capability Analysis of Rails Production Process”. The main aim is to assess the process capability using statistic method regarding significant dimensional parameters from reversing mill in the company Třinecké železárny, a.s. A work piece of the bachelor’s degrese thesis also creates assessment of capability of two rails types 136 RE and 60 E2 after three basic parameters: rail height, rail head wideness and rail heel wideness. The theoretical part contents problematic analyze of a process capability assessment. Further the thesis includes Třinecké železárny, a.s. presentation and its rail production process description. Practical part focused on proper process capability of production of chosen rail types regarding significant parameters and assessment of particular results and possible improvement suggestions.
