Abstract
The purpose of the thesis is implementation of laboratory measuring station for small electronically commutated (EC) DC servomotors. The thesis summarises theoretical knowledge and ways of Brush-Less DC motor control. As laboratory motor is used EC motor FAULHABER with 7,4 W of output power. Another motor which is measured is linear motor by the same manufacturer with peak power 10,5 N. Both are compatible with used FAULHABER‘s 3-phase control unit. In software Motion Manager 6 were created two example algorithms for motor control. Next part of thesis is focused on measuring of phase current and voltage waveforms in stator windings. Waveforms were taken from 4-Channel oscilloscope. This way we verified that supply converter uses sinusoidal commutation for supplying of BLDC motor. By measuring in generator mode on motor have been taken the BEMF waveforms. On these and another technical basis was proven that motor winding is self-supporting shape with sinusoidal BEMF. This and other knowledge helped me to create the example laboratory task designed for student introduction to BLDC motor control. I suggest using the thesis as study material for realization of measurements on the laboratory station.
