Abstract

The thesis deals with the analysis and possibilities of reducing additional losses of the asynchronous motor. At first in theoretical part, all losses of the asynchronous motor are described and divided. In the second chapter are discussed possibilities of determining efficiency and losses according to standard ČSN 60034-2-1 ed.2. Further, the types of additional losses and possibilities of calculation are explained. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the possibilities of reducing additional losses. As one of the variants described is a method of tear of rotor cage, which is then verified in the practical part on individual samples motors.
