Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to describe the current situation of inventory management at Advanced World Transport as where it is evaluated size inventory, focusing on the commitment of financial resources available with the possibility of optimization. In the theoretical part of my thesis I have focused on explaining the basic theoretical background on inventory, inventory management and inventory methods for classification and methods of their control. The next section is introduced by Advanced World Transport, Inc. and its range of products and the problems of storing supplies. In the practical part and it is compared to the current system of inventory management with proposed economic evaluation of benefits.
