Abstract

My work deal with the economic, the social and the political indicators in Greece. It describes the evolution of the economic crisis in that country. The economic part is concerned with the state budget, the amount of public debt, financial help from the IMF and the euro area, balance of payments, GDP per capita, inflation and unemployment. In dealing with social welfare services, social benefits, spending on pensions and the average gross monthly wage. In the political section describes the current development of the local political system, including the results of parliamentary elections. The last part proposes a solution to the Greek crisis.
