Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and structural assessment of a four-storey load-bearing structure of a corporate headquarters building located in Třinec. The primary structural system of the building consists of a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. The scope of the work includes the determination of applied loads and the evaluation of their effects using a three-dimensional structural analysis model created in the SCIA Engineer software. Based on the obtained results, selected structural members are designed and verified in accordance with relevant standards with respect to both the ultimate and serviceability limit states. The output of the thesis consists of a static calculation and reinforcement drawings of the assessed structural elements.
