Vliv tepelného zpracování na vlastnosti slitiny Ti6Al4V připravené metodou SLM

Abstract

This thesis examines the effect of heat treatment on the properties of a Ti-6Al-4V alloy produced by selective laser melting (SLM). The aim was to assess the suitability of as-built samples for direct application and to evaluate the influence of heat treatment on their mechanical, microstructural, and corrosion properties. Tensile testing, hardness testing, fractographic analysis (SEM and confocal microscopy), optical microscopy, EBSD, and potentiodynamic polarization were used for evaluation. The best mechanical and corrosion properties were achieved after annealing at 700 °C for 80 minutes, while longer annealing led to deterioration. The results indicate that appropriate heat treatment can improve SLM Ti-6Al-4V properties.
