Abstract

The thesis „A comparisonof the terminology and settings in pacemaker technology“ is focused of the terminology to three companies - Boston Scientific, Vitatron and St. Jude Medical. The aim of the study is acquainted with the problems of irregular heartbeat, pacing technology and pacing modes of pacemakers. According to comparisonof the terminology these companies has been created an application in programming language MATLAB, concretely in environment GUI. In terms of the input parameters application propose with help of programmed algorithm recommended settings pacing parameters of pacemakers in the terminology of the selected company.
