Abstract
This graduation thesis focuses on one of most widespread passive optical component, which is passive optical splitter. First part of this thesis focuses on description of theoretical parameters and fabrication techniques of passive optical splitter. Second part of this thesis focuses on measuring of temperature influence on attenuation of passive optical splitter. This measuring procedeed by submersion of four splitters in water bath and measuring its optical power at the end of each leg of splitter. Infuence was measured in temperature range from 20 °C to 100 °C and for wavelenghts 1310 nm and 1550 nm. The results were written in the tables, graphs and regression curves have been made from calculated values. Last part of this thesis consist of evaluation of influences.
