Abstract

The theme of this bachelor thesis is professional practice in XEVOS Solutions s.r.o. company. I have devided the thesis into five chapters where I focused on the characteristics of the company and my work asignments. Then I described the assigments I was dealing with during the practice, methods and solutions. I described used and missing knowledge and skills and the results of my practice. My first assignment was to create desktop application Stored Procedure Generator to make the work of company developers easier. After that I cooperated on developing ERP system Biggie. It is a BI solution that supports dynamic production of the analysis and reports for the system's users. BI modul was built on the interconnection of data cube created over database which is being used by ERP system and database which allows creating MDX query. Then I created data administration system for this database.
