Abstract

This work focuses on the analysis and evaluation of the provision of grants to non-profit organizations, municipalities in selected areas - culture, sport , social , applied in cities Přerov , Šumperk and Jeseník . The first part focuses on the theory of management of local governments . Definition of income and expenditure budgets of municipalities , NGOs characteristics and civic associations. Another part focuses on the analysis of subsidies granted to non-profit organizations in selected areas in Prerov , Šumperk and Jeseníku . It approaches basic characteristics of cities and the various forms of subsidies to non-profit organizations towns . The aim of the thesis was to analyze and evaluate the possibility of obtaining grant funds for non-profit organizations in the fields of culture and sport and social in the larger cities of Olomouc Region (Přerov , Cumperk Jeseník ) based on the comparison of different cities in the years 2010 - 2013.
