This thesis deals with the technical solution of crime prevention in selected urban area. In the introductory part the basis of criminal policy theory, including analysis, prediction, transfer of criminality and system of crime prevention in Czech Republic is described. The main part follows up selected urban area, its description, identifying risk areas and current situational crime prevention measures. On the grounds of public opinion poll and subsequent analytic part new actions of situational crime prevention, including the expression of their investment costs are designed.
