Abstract

Czech Republic has a relatively high proportion of feldspathic raw materials. They belong among the most significant Czech nonmethalic ores. The primary sources of this raw material are leucocratic granitoids and pegmatites, but they are also mainly found as feldspathic sand and gravel, the secondary sources. It is an important raw material for the processing industry (glass, porcelain, ceramics, etc.). This thesis is focused on creating a method for obtaining sufficiently pure feldspar by implementing scientific theories in laboratory experiments. The basis of the research is a flotation, as almost generally applicable method of separation. Revenues and effectiveness of individual phases of flotation separation are evaluated by using statistical methods and summarized in the conclusion.
