Abstract

This thesis contains 3 main chapters in which comparison of student loans have been done. In the first chapter terms relating to loans have been explained. Classification and characteristics of loans have been stated as well. In the second part loan products which are used for study financing in the Czech Republic, the United States of America and Great Britain have been described together with the system of education in every mentioned country. In the third part loans products for two students in every analyzed country have been chosen according to findings from second part of this thesis and these products have been compared according to amount of loan, month’s repayment, APR and amount of overpaying of loan including consideration of different wage´s conditions in given countries. In the attachment of this thesis is a document FAFSA which is necessary to obtain a federal student loan in USA.
