Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce future designers to the state and methods of operation of electrical stations in the Moravian-Silesian region and trends in their design. In the first point it discusses the historical development of the distribution system of the Moravian-Silesian region. It describes the ways in which electrical stations were operated in the past and how they are operated today. Furthermore, the types of elements that are established at the electrical substations of the Moravian-Silesian Region, their parameters and methods of connection to the distribution system are presented. The most common types of switching elements are also compared. The last point deals with the design of electrical stations and safety at work on electrical equipment.
