Abstract

The Thesis addresses the economic aspects of providing the Public Transport. The initial part of the Thesis deals with the definition of the legislative frame of Transport services. It further describes the principles of providing the public services in passenger transportation. In the second part of the Thesis, a comparative analysis of selected economic performance indicators of subjects in focus, has been carried out. This section subsequently assesses the economics of providing the city public transport by Public Transport companies in selected cities.
