Abstract

The Graduation Thesis deals with the influence of grain size of dust materials on the lower explosive limit. The first chapter introduces fundamental technical terms and definitions connected with the focusing. The next chapter describes the theory of explosion, its mechanisms and varieties. The third chapter concerns the attributes of dusts and their influences of explosivity; it also defines their explosive limit. The fourth and the fifth chapters are about preparation of samples. At first requirements connected with the samples and possible working procedure with them are dealt with. The fifth chapter concentrates on our own preparation and adjustment of samples with specificity and device used for the adjustment. The sixth chapter describes the testing device, its own process of test and its results, followed by theoretical bases of the test and comparison of measured values with literature.
