Abstract
In this bachelor is the outlined issue of determining the permeability on drill core samples from experimental chimney filled with cement-fly ash insulating mixture. Knowledge of this issue may help to understand the contact between flowing gas and filling mixtures. In the first section is the description of permeability as one of the fundamental physical properties. It also includes a description of cement-fly ash mixture. The next sections deal with the description of the testing stack, in which the mixture was tested, laboratory measurements, measurement results and interpretation of data obtained from cement-fly ash mixture samples. Test mixture showed very weak to weak permeability and considerable decrease reflected in first 90 days from pouring of the testing stack. After the first 90 days the permeability of the insulating mixture did not show any further changes.
