Abstract

Bachelor's Thesis, Vysoká škola Báňská – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Security Engineering, Department of Security Services. Supervisor of the bachelor's thesis Ing. Věra Holubová, Ph.D. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in customs in the protection of intellectual property rights when importing goods into the European Union from third countries and within the domestic market. The thesis analyzes the current state of intellectual property rights protection, identifies critical areas and proposes innovative methods for using artificial intelligence to effectively detect counterfeit goods. The aim is to improve the prevention and detection of intellectual property rights infringements during customs controls and thereby strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights.
