Abstract

This diploma thesis treats the issues of calculation of short circuit conditions in industrial company. The theoretical parts deals with the most important knowledge about short circuits and the problem of power supply of industrial entreprises. It describes the basic operating system circuit of an industrial entreprise. It includes the detail description of general configuration of Electric Power Systems, Transmission Systems, power electrical distribution systems and electrical substation. There are metnioned the effects of short circuit for the afflicted parts of electrical power system, characetistics of short curcuits and methods of calculation of short circuits conditions according to norm ČSN EN 60909-0. The practical parts deals with the calculation of maximal and minimal short circuit conditions on all distribution points HV and LV of an industrial enterpise and includes the cable control vn allowed warming during the short circuit.
