Studium využitelnosti optických snímacích systémů pro měření elektromagnetických polí

Abstract

The aim of this work was the research of fiber optic sensors with which the intensity of the magnetic field could be measured. As part of this work, the possibility of measuring the intensity of the magnetic field using Bragg's grates and Terfenol-D was also verified. The measurements were made using four optical fibers with a Bragg grate, which were attached to Terfenol-D and to which a magnet was moved or pulled by a sliding mechanism. The research compares optical fiber sensors according to the physical phenomena they use, respectively according to the methods of measurement. Furthermore, wavelength dependence on magnetic field strength and grid bias was experimentally proved. This dependency was in all cases described by regression models. On the basis of the data found, it is possible to consider the measurement with fiber-optic sensors as being sufficiently accurate with a wide range of applications.
