Jan Česelský, Ph.D. This thesis deals with the process of investment decision making in the area of development projects. In the first part are given general principles, procedures and individual phases of decision process of investment preparation and basic terms are defined. In the second part, the principles are then applied to a specific case of investment opportunity, when the developer in the context of pre-investment preparation to decide whether to accept or reject the offered project. Data collection and analysis is performed. The aim of the work is, based on the evaluation of all aspects, a recommendation to the developer whether it is appropriate to invest in the project.
