Abstract
In this thesis the author deals with the problematic of devices used within Fire Rescue Services of the Czech Republic to detect and analyze chemical substance in case of interference with the presence of hazardous substances. In following chapters the various commonly used detectors are described including their measuring principle and the most common use, the measuring principle of the new analyzers GDA 2 and Raman spectrometer, and their most frequent use. Next part compares the usage of existing detection devices and analyzers GDA 2 and Raman spectrometer First Defender within Fire Rescue Services of the Czech Republic. GDA 2 analyzers and Raman spectrometer presently belong to the newest equipment Fire Rescue Services can use to detect hazardous substances. The author also deals with statistics of interventions with hazardous substances and selects interventions, where the above listed devices were used to detect and analyse hazardous substances.
