Abstract
This thesis deals with test design and implementation possibilities used in HIL testing. The first chapter describes the basic principles of modelling and simulation for HIL testing in the automotive industry. The next chapter compares hardware and software resources for HIL test equipment. Furthermore, is described practical implementation and functionality verification of the HIL test device. The implementation of the HIL test device is viewed from the perspective of hardware and software. The next chapter describes basic steps for the design and implementation of tests for headlights. Steps in test design are implemented by processing requirements, creating a test plan, programming test tasks, performing tests and finally evaluating the results. The last chapter is devoted to the created test task for teaching. The test task is based on the LV124 electrical specification, which is recognized by leading German carmakers.
