Abstract

The subject of the bachelor work: „Risk management at the level of municipalities“ give a definition and analysis of actual positions of communities and towns in the system of risk management into a public administration. The first part is concentrated on general concepts and specifications of the risk management, the Security policy of our country, a crisis planning and on public administration bodies, which work on the subject’s area in the Czech Republic. The second part is characteristic with the direction on communities as a basic article of the public administration at taking measures of protection of the population, extraordinary events and crisis situations. The last chapter analyses the whole risk management in selected towns and recommends the solution to some of the found problems.
