Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with designing and dimensioning of an accumulation unit for distribution network. The theoretical part focuses on four topics: connected with the distribution network, the smart grid conception (from the perspective of energy accumulation), the possibilities and ways of the electric energy accumulation, at least with the companies producing this energy-acumulation units. The designing part involves the conception of a converter, that makes the two-way flow energy possible. In the projecting part there is projecting schema illustrating an internal electrical decomposition of the whole equipment and protection elements contained in container.
