Abstract

Diploma thesis named "Principles and Elements of Knowledge Management Application in an Industrial Organization” is focused on the effective use of elements and principles of Knowledge Management. The aim of thesis is to identify and assess elements and aspects of knowledge management in the organization, on the basis of theoretical and analytical research. The thesis is composed of the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part collects terms which are concerning the definition of elements and principles of knowledge management. The newly acquired knowledge was used to create an analysis that is the main and supporting research of the contents. DEZA, Inc. was approached for purposes of the analysis. The analytical part was focused on knowledge-based model. A key method for exploring and acquiring the necessary information was the method of half standardized interview with managers. Attempt to clarify the broken principles of knowledge management, design and recommend next steps is devoted penultimate chapter, which can assess the issue of cost of production, maintenance and development of knowledge management.
