Abstract

This thesis describes a project of efficient lighting systems. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of light sources and luminaires used for outdoor lighting. The following part describes the computational methods used in the designs of the public lighting. The thesis then describes the various options to achieve energy and economic savings in the lighting system. The last chapter describes the practical part, which consists of two sections. The first section deals with a project of energy-efficient lighting system that meets the performance requirements for the type and classification of communication. The second section describes the calculation of the initial investment and maintenance costs of the lighting system.
