Měření výskytu mikro a nanočástic v pracovním ovzduší gumárenského průmyslu

Abstract

HAŽÍK, Patrik. Measurement of the occurrence of micro- and nanoparticles in the workplace air of the rubber industry. Ostrava, 2026. Diploma thesis. Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 70 p. Thesis supervisor Ing. Petra Roupcová, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the occurrence of micro and nanoparticles in workplace air in the rubber industry, focusing on tyre production. It summarizes the formation of ultrafine particles during rubber processing and their relevance to occupational safety and health. The experimental part focuses on measuring particle number concentration and mean particle diameter using the DiSCmini instrument. Vulcanization presses were selected as the key workplace. The results showed that vulcanization is a significant source of ultrafine particles and that worker exposure is also affected by workplace ventilation.
