Regulace pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů na českém pojistném trhu

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to describe the activities of insurance intermediaries in the Czech insurance market, define the proposed legislative changes in the Czech Republic and the European Union, then compare the proposed changes and determine the impact of changes on insurance brokers. The theoretical part mentions valid legislation, the division of insurance brokers categories, associations of insurance brokers are listed here as well. Further, the conditions necessary to be fulfilled when providing this activity are mentioned and activities of insurance intermediaries are described. In the practical part, the proposed legislative changes in the Czech Republic and the European Union are analyzed and the impact of these changes on insurance intermediaries is determined.
