Abstract

This bachelor thesis is concerned with rectification and maintenance performed on oxygen converters. In theoretical part, there are depicted activities of maintenance, their division and organisation. Subsequently, there is introduced company which carries out entire maintenance of metallurgical units in steel factory in Třinec. In practical part, individual rectification and maintenance of oxygen converters are being described in detail. Even operation of oxygen converter steel mill and material used for rectification are described. In the concluding part, problems and suggested amendments are being solved.
