ABRAMENKO, K. Effect of fiber on the physical properties of leveling floor screeds: Master’s Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB –Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Building Materials and Diagnostics of Buildings, 2015, 232 p. Supervisor: Ing. Jiří Šafrata. The thesis deals with the influence of fiber on the physical properties of the leveling floor screeds based on different quantity and different kinds of fiber. In the theoretical part it is described the technological process of casting floor screeds, along with the types and risks of volume changes during its ripening and the several types of fiber, which can be used in screeds. Basic physical exams, volume change tests and additional analysis are also part of the thesis. The purpose of the thesis is an assessment of fiber's influence on changes of the physical characteristics of leveling floor screeds in long periods of time due to volume and strength changes and their comparison.
