Abstract
The thesis concerns on possibilities of modern methods of metallic materials production made by 3D printing. The thesis is focused on austenitic stainless steel AISI 316I, which is used in many demanding technical disciplines such as food or chemical industry, energetics etc. Usage of this material is also significant in medical disciplines, especially prosthetics and implant production. The experimental part compares properties of the AISI 316I on samples made by 3D printers and conventional methods of producing. Also the mechanical properties of microstructural and fractografical characteristics and corrosion resistance in selected environment are monitored. Gained knowledge is summarized and evaluated in conclusion.
