Abstract

The Possibilities Evaluation of Energy Saving in Schools Using European Union Subsides

The aim of my graduation theses is to approximate possibilities of realisation of energy savings at educational institutions (schools) with the usage of financial resources from European Union - not only theoretically but also in practise in the project called Energy savings in the objects of Ostrava-Poruba. There are described possible financial resources of those energy savings from the resources of European Union and consequently my project is aimed at approaching of operational programme Environment. In this operation programme there is posibility within preferred centre line number 3 support area 3.2 the realisation of energy savings and usage of thermic waste in non business section, to get financial resources for energy savings at educational institutions. Going about the amount of projects, Moravian-Silesian Region is the third largest region supported from this preferred centre line. The project called Energy savings in objects of Ostrava-Poruba is realised here and it is the biggest project in The Czech Republic with the biggest support and also with the highest amount of reconstructed educational institutions. In my graduation theses there is evalution of possible energy savings that developed from realisation of this project in GJ and their reduction of money into czech currency. Evalution those savings in GJ and in CZK is performed to the level of whole Ostrava City where 162 educational institutions are found. For getting idea how inhabitants feel about realised project Energy savings in the objets of Ostrava-Poruba there was done questionary examianation. From this examination was learnt that inhabitants know about realisation of this project and that they agree with the realisation and they support it. According to their opinion renovation of educational institutions heighten attraction of those institutions nad of the area too. They also have idea from where were the financial resources for this action taken. On the basis of my graduation theses was found that reckoned savings in crowns and energy will bring important savings of financial resources together with decrease of energy difficulty running at schools. Similiar project that were semifinanced from european funds were very benefical and their usage can bring savings in energy costs to operators of schools.
