Abstract

Viticulture and sustainable life in Pálava surroundings thesis deals with complex solution of the current situation and possible directions of development in the area around the Pavlov Hills in southern Moravia, with an emphasis on endogenous stabilization and strenghtening of indigenous cultural qualities of the area - restoration of the old rural cultural dimension. And with the possibility for soft tourism. All of this with regard to potential threads arising from changes in culture and social structure in the area. The work is focused as on region as a whole, with emphasis on setting a limit and breakdown area into functional zones, as on the representant of one selected area - Bavory, which is solved by using the network of production - cultural facilities of wine cluster in appropriately selected locations within the municipality, as an element of stabilization and strenghtening frame of area.
